Right, Clyde -

Buster Keaton was famous for not using a double, even for some very risky stunts. One of my all-time favorite scenes, though less risky than many, is when he rides the side-rods of The General into the engine house. I also like the scene in 'The Iron Mule' where the engineer yanks the tall stack off the engine and carries it over the hill while the train runs though the tunnel below him – not particularly dangerous, but VERY funny!
