Kelly's Café and Bar was located just south of the bank building 2 doors down from Roger's Hogan.

After it burned in the winter of 1981-2 (burned not once, but twice. The second time being a couple of weeks after power and gas had been turned off....), the hulk remained for a few years. The asking price was hugely inflated by the fact that the liquor license was included in the property. Liquor licenses in NM are worth big $$$. Eventually, the property was sold and cleared. The new owners built a home/art gallery on the back of the property near the alley and landscaped the street side.
