Kevin, The 14 was purchased from Mr. Wilmunder in about 1972 or'73, along with diesel #15 and 2 passenger cars - a homebuilt car on a Westside log bunk and the "Rattler" from the Lake Tahoe Ry. & Transportation Co. The 14 was moved to Central City and used there until the operation closed in 1981, when it was moved to Georgetown. The 14 is in service at this time on the Loop. The 8 was purchased from a private party in Oregon and moved to Georgetown in 1978. It was in service on the Loop until 1986, and has been out of service since that time in need of heavy repairs. The 12 was purchased from the defunct Westside & Cherry Valley RR in 1986 and has been in service on the Loop since that time.
