A couple of notable differences. #1: The wind wasn't blowing the tailings around when John West took his. #2: I was a kid with a box camera, John had a real camera and the knowledge of how to use it! Paging through the old photo album has sure brought memories back to me though! But thanks for showing interest in a kids snapshots.
My mom was driving the first time we traveled over Wolf Creek to Durango and I remember how excited I was when we crossed the NARROW GAUGE crossing East of Durango! My eyes followed the tracks all the way into town.
