That was in interesting view point on narrow gauge logging in New Zealand Chris. I was suprised by the fact that the country had much of a forest product industry and It shocked me to see pine boards in our local hardware store from New Zealand! I live in central Iowa USA. I bet that board started out life riding in that train to the mill and I do have to say that the lumber from New Zealand looks so much nicer than some of our domestic woods.
