I dunno, Wayne -

I think Chromo Crude probably works more like Lipitor — you have to drink a glass or two after every meal of Vegemite to prevent the clogging from happening in the first place.  SFAIK, once 'mite has congealed from years of abusing your veins (or brains) then beer can't do much to disolve or dislodge it.
