News! D&RGW 473-- D&S Photographer's Special

Breaking News from Durango:
It was announced at railfest this evening that the September Photographer's Special on the D&S will feature the Bumblebee #473 lettered D&RGW.
Last evening, I learned that the D&S considers Railfest to be it's own function, and that the principle reason it does this annual event is for D&S promotion. That is why they elected to letter #473 D&S for Railfest.
The annual Photographer's Special is an opportunity to put on events that recreate the Railroad's history in ways that are meaningful to historians, rail buffs, and those interested in recreating images of the past. So, D&RGW #473 will once again take the rails in September.
I hope you will plan to attend the Photographer's Special in September and support the D&S in it's efforts to both continue into the future and honor it's rich heritage.
