Dave, the one with the autos was taken in November 1940 and it was the last run of the Shavano passenger train. Otto Perry, Dick Kindig,, Jack Thode, John Maxwell, Ed Haley and some others took a train from Denver and rode that last run to Gunnison and return. Jack Thode worked for the D&RGW so knew when the last run would be.
