If someone else has posted this my apologies, but Jonathan posted this on the Friends Forum and somehow I missed it until now. There is quite a bit of history of the Gooses and why and how they were built, their service life and how they were restored. Interviews with John Bush, Jeff Taylor, Don Tallman as well as leaders and historians that did the hands on work in their restorations.

Considering that the Gooses were a bunch of old junk cobbled together by a nearly bankrupt railroad in order to stay in business during the depression, and not only do they still exist, but all of them are operational today. INCREDIBLE!
