When we dedicated the Turntable, Ward and Betty rode their locomotive onto the turntable, the entire Kimball family was onhand for the event. Poor Ward was quite feeble by this time, and I don't believe he came out to OERM again. BTW, the city of Perris Calif, dedicated their new rail transportation center to Ward in his honor naming it after him. Pretty cool.
