Out in Calif, at Orange Empire I use my big backpack leaf blower to clean off all the leaves, pine needles, and debris off the ballast and switches to help keep them functioning properly, by the end of the loading platform (about 1,100') I am pushing quite a pile of stuff down the track. No snow to be found out here.
