Car 254 was at Vance Junction and was used as the station It sat just south of the section house. In 1985 it was part of the Shank collection and was moved to the CRRM along with the standard gauge boxcar and outfit car. This was a package deal involving D&RGW #50, Goose 6 & 7, and RPO. etc. The three cars at Vance Junction were included in the purchase by the CRRM from the Shank collection at Hermosa. 254 was in terrible shape. Bob Richardson said the only good parts were the four corner posts and three of the sills. 254 went back to the Shank's in Monte Vista.
