NNG - Movie Loco - V&T 22?

Dear All, and especially Larry Jensen:

Check the cover and page 149 of Colorado Rail Annual No. 32. Photo is identified as Kansas Pacific 22, and is credited to the Robert W. Richardson Library, Colorado RR Museum. Caption reads: "Typical of 1869 KP motive power was Locomotive No. 22, named Arapaho. It was originally built for the UPED by Baldwin (CN 1600) during March, 1867and became KP No. 22 in March, 1869. It was one of 20 wood-burning engines owned by the railroad at the end of 1869. These were all converted to use coal the following year. In 1885 it was renumbered 349 for the Union Pacific and served in the B.4.K class until its boiler exploded, killing fireman James Sutton, July 16, 1889."

Look at the photo. My guess is this is NOT an 1869 photo of KP 22, but V&T 22, the Inyo, on a movie set. V&T 22 was sold to Paramount in 1937. Look closely, especially at the reproduction of the photo on p. 149 - the coupler on the pilot is a knuckle coupler, and the cut lever is visible. So, what movie, starring who in addition to the V&T 22, when and where was it filmed? Just curious.
