I believe this subject has been raised before, but the information I have is that this post card photo is part of the Nina Weald Postcard collection (M194 Vol 4 #394) from the Fort Lewis College in Durango and shows K-27 #453 on bridge 496B crossing Cement Creek.
Bridge 496B was a 2 panel OD pile trestle 64’ long. Possibly jointly owned by the D&RGW and the Silverton Northern RR - the D&RGW had MP 497 shown as the End of Track after the abandonment of the SN in 1942 up to 1955 when the track was re-aligned to run up 12th Street. This is the bridge just south of the switch where the SN turned off the D&RGW track.
