Since some freight billed to points geographic south of Mears Junction is on the Salida-bound freight train a Valley Line freight should be operated soon. Also to be operated soon will be a deadhead passenger equipment move from Alamosa to Salida in preparation for the last passenger train through the Black Canyon.
