Tom Young would be the guy to talk to on both of them. #100 was operational and could be used for switching before the wheel broke, so likely so on it. It consumes a lot of gasoline. Tom did tell me that a problem shifting the transmission had come up, that he would need to address. #100 has a fairly unusual air brake system that one needs to learn. I have a manual on it, but forget the actual schedule without digging for it. There is a cut out cock below the brake stand that allows in one position the brake valve to function for straight air only on the engine. In the other position the brake valve works like a G6 more or less. #720 had it's engine heater plugged in so it could easily be started for back up during the Christmas trains last weekend. I assume it would be available as back up power next season.
