The yard is about to change. But first a couple of notes. In this September 1965 view you might notice the engine with a flatcar mounted dragline in front of it. There was a soft fill on the Farmington line that had to be completely replaced, and what you see is a work train headed there. No service to or from Farmington for a couple of weeks as I remember. However we were lucky that there was enough lumber traffic from Durango to require a "short" train to Chama the next day. Secondly, the tank only looks as if it has two spouts, like the Chama tank. The one on the mainline side is a fake, added for some movie and never removed. September 1965.
