A Tie cutting sawmill was at Tefft Spur on the line. This was a Otto Mears operation possibly established when Mears was contracted to rebuild the Silverton branch in 1911. pg260 The Rainbow Route.
Ireland had a station number Y450 (Roster#11 1923) yet the Tie Treating Plant at m.p.248.11 on the Creede Br. does not, FWIW.
