Russo, 18 of the old box car passenger cars in one of your pictures. Reminds me of such a train I rode in the 70's and we stopped right along the rails driven into the cliff for protection of the track. We stopped because both engines did not have sufficient water in the boiler to go over the top. Seems like we were there somewhere between 8-10 minutes for them to get enough water in the boiler through the injectors. I also remember a wheel on our car that hand a small flat spot on it that as the day grew longer seemed to get louder. Was glad to get out of it. Still I loved the ride.
