The T-12's were edged out slowly over the years. Early on (190?) the K-27's began hauling 315/316 from Salida to Sargent, by the start of WWI they were often doing the same on Cerro. After the K-28's arrived in late 1923 the remaining T-12's were used on passenger trains, AFAIK, only on the Santa Fe train (425/426, up until 1932-3), the Salida-Alamosa train (317/318, until it quit running in 1927), and Gunnison-Ouray (until 1930-31 when Ouray section becam a mixed and C class engines began being used on Gunnison-Montrose trains 315/316).
They were also used on the Lake City branch (until it was abnd/sold in 1933) and at times on the line to Pitken (abd 1934).
5 T-12s were scrapped in 1926 (170, 171, 173, 176, 177), 2 in 1934 (166, 167), the 172 in 1936, 174 & 175 in 1937. 168 went to Colorado Springs for display in 1938, 169 was shown at the Worlds Fair in New York 1939-40 and then to display at Alamosa in 1940.
Again AFAIK, 169 was last used on the Santa Fe branch train and 168 was last used on the Lake City branch. Both in 1933.
I do know that 172 was at Gunnison until the fall of '36 when it was hauled East, DIT, to be scrapped. AFAIK, the remaining engines were in the Alamosa dead line until scrapped or donated.

ps 174 was used on a snow train to Cumbres in 1932 due to lack of engines at Alamosa, some other such use may have occured after 1933, but I think I am correct in saying that the last regular use of a T-12 was 168 on the lake City Branch in May of 1933.
