I don't think mention of the C&S brought a "negative reaction" as much as it did a "reality check". There are several C&S locomotives all stuffed and mounted, and I think most people think it's a shame they cannot be used any more. There's a lot of D&RGW museum equipment, and two railroads, while very little C&S still exists.
