The 1927 edition of the Locomotive Encyclopedia shows this truck as an Equalized Four-Wheer Tender Tuck with Longitudinal Semi-Eleptic springs as offered by the Baldwin locomotive Works.

I believe the Sumpter Valley Mallets served in Guatemala with their original trucks. See this photo of No. 250 at Guatemala City. Photo by Gordon Glattenberg.

The tender shown in this photo my be the one currently behind SV No. 20 which is awaiting restoration.

Came across this shot in my Guatemala file showing 251 at Mazatenago with leaf spring tender trucks.
