Re: Fire near Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine RR in Fish Camp

Let's hope the fire can be kept away from the YMSP Railroad itself. This is a narrow gauge treasure.

Today was the day that was scheduled for a "walk-through" by a potential new operator. This operator has great experience in operating steam tourists lines. It will be interesting to see if they do jump on board.

With the passing in the last few months of the YMSP owner Max Stauffer and then later his mother, it is not surprising that there might be a new operator for this wonderful steam railroad.

Let's pray that the fire spares the railroad for future generations to enjoy. As you can see the USFS sign for the railroad was destroyed.
