I met Fred through a model railroad friend in Durango long before the 315 project. Fred was one of the first to see the potential to restore 315. He was among the first to start the grassroots effort among Durango area rail enthusiasts (and only later with help steam locomotive professionals) to start the ball rolling.

Yes - a fitting tribute to a man with a passion for railroads, both large and small.
