Looking for your questions the military actors performance connected with historical some facts about People's Defense Organization "Carpathian Sich":
People's Defense Organization "Carpathian Sich" is a paramilitary organization in Transcarpathia in 1938-1939, issued on November 9, 1938, by the nationalists of "Ukrainian National Defense". March 14, 1939 Augustine Voloshin proclaimed the independence of "Carpatho-Ukraine" notifying German Foreign Ministry of his decision. On the morning of March 15, 1939 Hungarian fascists launched a general offensive in three directions: the western (Perechyn - Velikiy Berezny - Uzh), the middle (Svalyava - Volovets), the eastern (Sevlyush - Khust - Solotvyno - Yasinya). March 18, 1939, the last defenders of "Carpatho-Ukraine" stopped their resistance but separate departments of "Carpathian Sich" continued fighting in partisan detachments.

That is why it is used original uniforms and guns of historical times.
