Tom,
The orange/red color is a color used by the RGS in the later years. Those cars are being prepared for the RGS charter coming up Sept. 3, and Sept. 4,5. they will be repainted to D&RGW colors after the charter.
There are only a very few tickets left for the RGS charter.
It is an event not to be missed, not likely to be repeated, and will benefit the restoration of D&RG #168 the 1883 4-6-0 now being worked on in Antonito.
