I know you're joking, but actually that is one of the more plausable rebuilds (fewest problems) around.
Might have some issues with:
....Going near the pen at Buena Vista, signs all over the area, don't pick up hichhikers, don't stop, etc...
....House on bridge abutment over the Arkansas. (maybe use 1904 D&RG line to Nathrop? UP isn't using it!)
....Road on grade from Cascade to St Elmo. St Elmo to Hancock too but that might be less of a problem (less well-maintained/used road)
....Grade washed out in places, Newett to Macune.
....Rock slides on grade, Mt Princeton to Cascade.
....Alpine Tunnel, caved in (ca 194?) at east end.
Still, less use/things on the grade than many other areas that often get proposed!
OTOH, not likely to get very many riders East of Mt Princeton...

PS I haven't been on the ground in the area since 2010, 1970's for Mt Princeton - St Elmo, so I may have missed some problem areas...
