I have been following the Kozo article also. In the age of calculators its easy to translate to any scale. My biggest gripe with the article is he strays from the prototype
to much. It would have paid off to have researched the locomotive more. I have a friend in the St.Louis area who has built a K-27 in 1.5" scale and its a beauty.
I am happy that Kozo has chosen this loco to build, it has inspired many to try there hand at live steam that otherwise wouldn't have.
