If the "Phantom Painters" had been active in 1942 we would consider it, but my guess it got done after the RGS had shut down. There will be a couple of box cars with the simple RGS lettering. 0400 and 455 will have the full sunrise herald. 315 may become 319, if they can come up with a rectangular front number plate. Photos of 315 on the RGS are scarce, but 319 shows up quite a bit, including double heading, which is one of the planned elements for the September 5 train.
319 double heading with 461 near Hesperus. Both leased locos are lettered Rio Grande, but there are not a lot of railfan photos taken on the RGS during the WWII years, so it is quite possible that the 319 could have double headed with the 455 with the sunrise herald.
