Sumpter Valley or Suprise Valley

I found this photo of a locomotive captioned as being Sumpter Valley Railway #15, but I wonder if it isn't from the Surprise Valley down in Nevada, some kind of boondoggle if I remember correctly? Seems like I was told none of the SVRy gear was labeled with just a SV. BRIAN
