Here is a shot of #805. I believe I posted this shot last winter. It belongs to a member who purchased it at the same time as #720 was acquired. Dan Robirds has covered the history of both engines in a number of posts over the last few years as he has made a major effort at uncovering the history and technical specs. of GE's small motive power. #805 has to a small extent served as a parts donor for the #720. Hopefully those parts can be acquired or duplicated at some point. Both engines were the victims of copper thieves down in Panama. I think this may have even happened after they were purchased. Besides all of the major wiring cables, both engines lost their auxiliary generators. #720 now has an auxiliary generator from a 70 ton GE. Dan determined that they are not the same GE part #, but so far it seems to work fine.
