Re: EBT Chance Coal Cleaner - some model content SG 3-way stub on EBT

Hello. A few years ago there was a series of articles on the transfer plant in the "The Timber Transfer" (quarterly publication of the Friends of the East Broad Top), which would probably be very helpful on the operations aspect of the plant. These are available from the FEBT Company Store:

The coal was delivered between the rails into an underground pit, and conveyed up into the plant. The open-ended shed covering this dump pit (two tracks wide) was on the railroad-west side of the plant, and is visible at center of the first image on Chris Coleman's Virtual Tour. Chris's page has a good overall synopsis of layout and operation.

There were (still are) not just one, but two 3-way standard gauge stub switches at the plant, one at each end of the standard gauge scale. You probably have the best photo already, they are heavily overgrown.
