D&S, Royal Gorge Railroad, Victor and Cripple Creek, Phantom Canyon, Amtrak from Denver to Glenwood Springs and return (39 tunnels including the Moffat and Gore Canyon), Leadville, Colorado & Southern, Boreas Pass, Georgetown Loop, San Luis and Rio Grande, and, if you drive from Vegas, the Grand Canyon isn't out of the way, the Grande Canyon Railway. Utah State Railway museum, Promontory Point...

PS, almost forgot, the Pikes Peak incline... Not sure if they're running steam this year or not..
