Just a brief update. The steam valve, pedestal, branch pipes and dry pipe were removed from the boiler therefore removing all the potential reusable parts from inside of the boiler. The boiler inspector has been contacted so to inspect the dry pipe to determine it is still serviceable. The steam valve body we found to be a steel replacement and this is being replaced with iron cast valve provided by Dave Kloke through Chris DeWitt. It will have to be machined and lapped to fit the existing valve which is in good shape. John
