I must have an infatuation with Gato, I see I have been there before asking questions, I just think it is a great spot with some intriguing operations.
I am reminded though that no one ever answered my question about operations on the crossing loop over the bridge, ie, who controlled the
points switches, and did trains run to a very strict timetable so that trains 'knew' that they were going to make a cross at Gato so waited (and waited, and waited!) till the other train arrived, no matter how late?
