464 was retired in 1957 and sat on a "whisker" track near the ready tracks. My thinking is it may have sat there until #50 showed up to turn the trains. #50 was then parked on this track and 464 was shoved to the end of the storage track next to the car shop.

The first group of yellow cars came in 1950. The rest of the cars (the baggage car and all the former San Juan vestibule cars were painted yellow in 1955. The caboose was a part of the regular trains until about 1955.
