Doug,

David Hoffman makes brass trucks in hon3 and hon30 that are correct for the early Billemeyer & Smalls cars. Need to do some filing drilling and tapping, but they make up into a very nice truck. Dave has the original design with 20" wheels and the ears on the sideframes for the brake beams, or rebuilt with 24 inch wheels. These, you cut off the ears and hang the brakes from the carbody.
I have equipment well over 20 years old running with these trucks, they hold up well.
