The 2ft gauge Hunslet 0-4-0 quarry type loco "Gertrude", formerly of Penrhyn Quarry in Wales, was exported from the UK to Toronto in 1967. There it was sectioned and put on display to illustrate the inner workings of a steam locomotive (albeit a very small one!).

Yesterday, to everyone's surprise, it appeared at an open day at the Statfold Barn Railway in England. This means that all of the surviving quarry Hunslets from the famous Penrhyn and Dinorwic quarries in Wales are back in the UK

As yet I have no idea what the long term plans are for the locomotive.
