The Otowi highway bridge Tonyand Ernie mentioned was built in 1993 as a contest project for a contest celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Los Alamos laboratory. I was impressed with the bridge when I first saw it so when the NM DOT rebuilt it in the early 90’s I went down and measured and photographed everything I could get to. I understood that the rebuild had something to do with a trade with the San Ildefonso Pueblo for land to rebuild the main highway into Los Alamos. Rebuild bridge for land trade. It is now inaccessible to non tribal members. When I built my3rd version of my Los Alamos and Northern Railroad in 2003 I included it on the layout. I sold that layout in 2012 to a friend in Santa Fe. I have since lost all of the sketches, measurements and most of the photos in moving from house to house. I have a few photos and if I ever figure out how tp post them iI will..
