At least you had others on the same trip and folks like Earl who were there to help you. Try getting old film from the steam-era and have no notes, no dates, or anything to work with. Putting all the pieces together can be long-term. I am now getting around to getting some vintage stuff ready, cause at some point you just have to go with it, and if you don't know the info, well too bad. Good luck with your C&TS material. Shouldn't be too hard.
