i have my doubts its as narrow as 2ft and i know that was quite a regular size for mine trams, but the images i have make me question this size,
heres a 20 inch tram, note the size of the miner and the width of the track, height of tram etc in relation to his body
ive cut and pasted another shot of a Uintah tram with a guy standing next to it , of course he could be very short , but the width of the track and the height of the tram and the side of the tipple itself looks wrong for 24 inches ,
the trams they used for the gilsonite bags ( which weighed 200 lbs and had to be carried by two men ,so they were pretty big ) also look bigger than the top photo
what do you guys think ?
