Tateyama wasn't to hard to find on the old Googlemaps following the line is a lot more.
Here's a snapshot of one set of switchbacks and the co-ords. 36°32'52.2"N 137°31'01.5"E
Just imagine if Otto Mears had done this up from Ouray, and what an attraction that would be today.
