Re: 1947 Excursions, etc--Final year for me to post.

Not exactly. This is informational only setting up somewhat of a log of D&RGW excursions from the 40's to the 60's. Some of the notes are the way they are because they were for my info only originally and someone had posted images somewhere of some of these excursions. Also I checked the DPL library photos in some cases and the dates on those photos along with the engine and other info.
However, we do have some vintage films now on video for future use, including this first two days of the 1947 trip where extra coaches were added to the San Juan. The Rio Grande Southern Portion of that trip was shown in our RGS video a couple of years ago.
