And I spy tformer Catskill & Tannersville RR (N.Y} Baldwin 2-6-0's No. 1 and 2 - renumbered 2 and 3 on the Belleview line. In 1924, after abandonment of the Catskill narrow-gauges, Birmingham Rail & Locomotive sold the little 2-6-0's to the B&C. The price was for $1,750 each. It's rather surprising a market existed for small small three-foot power that late in the game. Can anyone think of other second-hand sales in that time period (excluding those mandated transfers to WP&Y and OR&L in WW II.)
