Bob has been at it for about 50 years, starting with Fine Lines that preceded the Narrow Gauge Gazette. Bob had a teaching career with the Palo Alto schools and he did the publication work in his spare time in the early years. He enlisted his parents to do the envelope stuffing, addressing and mailing, and for a while I printed the envelopes he mailed Fine Lines in to his subscribers. I have been amazed at his dedication at producing a consistently high quality publication over these many years.
