In this film the shop manager said that they were short of equipment with no spares as in locomotives. At the end one Alco was short its motor most likely it was in service the next month. But wasn't one of the GE shovel noses scraped in Washington in the last few years. And why was it not rebuilt. Yes one or two of the of the shops went out of business but why was the frame not sent to another shop for work instead of scrap. Over all a good film.
