Re: trucks - passenger

The attached photos are from the files of the late Bill Coffey, a well known narrow gauge modeler during the 1960's. While working Full time at Lockheed Sunnyvale he acquired the assets of Micro Wood Products a manufacturer of custom wood shapes for modeling. He intended expand the product line with a kit for a D&RGW Passenger car in HOn3. He contracted with is friend Harry Weiss, owner of The Cliff Line for the trucks. Unfortunately, problems with the die maker caused cancellation of the product and Bill was ultimately forced shut down his newly acquired company. The 1962 ad for the truck was dropped from Railroad Model Craftsman magazine but lingered on the order sheet until 1964.
