IIRC, the large coaling trestle had long since been replaced by a Red Devil coal loader, seen here in action about 36 hours earlier

The tall silver-painted "tube" (sand tower?) at the far right of the photo is about the only structure in the Alamosa yard still standing from the Narrow Gauge era.
