What is #489 doing - just stretching her legs, plowing, or moving ballast cars around again?
As noted above, the plow on #487 is more difficult to remove/reinstall than the other one - IIRC it's integrated with her pilot beam somehow, and I don't think it was moved to #484 as I have photos of both engines with plows on them within days of each other in 2012 - see photo of #484 w/ plow on above post, and the following photo of #487 w/ plow taken only one day later

And SFAIK, the plow currently on #489 is the one she was wearing in 2014 that was on #484 in 2012 and on #488 in 2009. Unless she's recently gone in the shop for boiler work, #487 is still wearing the 'semi-permanent' plow she has had for several years - see photo currently at very bottom of this NGDF page - #487 and #489 both had plows in late October, 2015
