It just kills me that the one weekend I went looking for the EBT when I was stationed in Maryland (in 1998), they weren't running due to track work. I never saw anything there running. In that pre-internet era where such things were easily checked, I didn't want to drive all the way there again to have the same experience.
Like most of you, it never occurred to me there'd soon come a day when the EBT would be exclusively referred to in the past tense...
